Just over a month ago, my brother and I took a trip to Belfast. We had been trying for nearly a year to find a time when both of our schedules were free and would allow us to go on a trip together, and it just so opened that this turned out to be the perfect opportunity. Although a year is obviously a long time to wait to go on a trip with someone, we had a ton of fun together during our trip, so I would definitely say that the long wait was well worth it.

In addition to enjoying each others company, one reason that we both enjoyed our trip so much is because it went so smoothly. We didn’t encounter any problems throughout the duration of our week long trip, and as you probably know from personal experience, having a trip where you don’t encounter any difficulties will make it that much more enjoyable.

I think the main reason that we didn’t run into any problems while we were in Belfast is because we made all of our reservations in advance on the Internet. Obviously, you always have to make your airline reservations in advance (or else you are not going to be able to get to where you want to go). However, in addition to our airline reservation, we also made our hotel room and Belfast airport car hire reservation on-line. This was a really good decision for us to make, because it meant that when we got off of the plane and collected our baggage, we were able to pick up our car hire in a very short amount of time.
