Ireland is Beautiful in the Spring

Spring has finally come for us to all enjoy, and I could not be more happy about this fact. I know that winter was the same length this year as it is every year, but because it was especially cold, it seemed like it lasted for longer. Luckily, winter is officially over, so it is something that doesn’t have to cross my mind again for quite some time. Since I don’t want to waste any additional time thinking about that subject, let’s focus on the good things about Spring.

A little less than a month ago, my friend gave me a call and asked if I had any interest in going with him on a trip to Ireland. In addition to being a nice surprise, things got even better when I found out the cost of the trip was going to be covered for me. As you probably guessed, I said yes to this offer and was really excited for my trip to begin. Although I love travelling, I get a little nervous about flying, but fortunately we didn’t encounter any problems.

After we got to the airport, we started our trip by getting our Belfast Airport car hire. Thanks to having a reservation in advance, it couldn’t have been any easier to get our Belfast Airport car hire. When we got this taken care of, we knew we were ready to start enjoying ourselves. Being able to spend six days in Ireland with someone that I really care about was such a great experience.

The trip was the perfect way to celebrate Spring getting underway, and I know that the next five to six months are going to be a lot of fun.

Belfast Was an Interesting Place to Visit

I like visiting places that have historical value. Maybe it’s because I live in the United States (which I love dearly, but which we all also know has only been in its current state for a fraction of the time that many other places have been in existent), but I like visiting cities and countries that have been in existence for many centuries. There is something truly amazing about walking around in a place that you know was built so long ago. Even if most of the original buildings are no longer standing, it really puts into perspective how big the world is and how long people have been around trying to do something meaningful with their lives.

Since you should now have a good idea of the types of places that I like to visit, it should come as no surprise that I really enjoyed visiting Belfast and Northern Ireland in general. I felt like there was so much to see in my limited time of five days, so I picked up a car hire at the Belfast airport. This turned out to be a good decision, because it allowed me to see quite a bit during the course of my trip.

It Was So Cool to Finally Meet My Family in Belfast

Since I was a small child, my parents had always told me about my relatives that lived in Belfast. In fact, even when I was just a little child, I always received a very nice birthday card from my relatives in Belfast. As I got a little bit older, I started writing letters to these relatives, and they always took the time to write me back. Because we began this type of relationship when I was still young, I have always felt a strong connection to these relatives, despite the fact that up until six months ago, I had never met them.

As the Internet grew in popularity, it became even easier for me to stay in touch with my Belfast relatives. Eventually, we all decided that it was time for me to take a trip to see them. I had some extra money saved up, and I couldn’t think of anything I would rather spend it on than this trip. I reserved my flight and Belfast airport car hire on-line, and then patiently waited for the date of my departure to arrive. I made it to Belfast safely, and when I first saw my relatives in person, it deepened our relationship even more. I spent a great five days with them, and I look forward to visiting them again (or having them come to visit me).
